Mudlites, Executioners, Dirt Devils, or Swamplites
a guy from work told me to stay clear of the swamplites. he suggested that i buy 26" mudlites. according to him, the swamplites dont do well on hard pac and will beat you death. ive heard too many con's towards the mudlites. how would the swamplites do with the rocky terrain of MO? thanks....Tim

That person has never had swamplites, apparently. My Swamplites are very smooth riding on the trails, with excellent hookup, and they do excellent on rocks. Ive done a few rock challenges with mine, along with some other rough rides, and they havnt failed in any way. I have a full report in this very forum, if you look for "Update: Swamplites" you will see it

i live in missouri and the swamplites are excellant. ive done the rock climbing, mudholes, hard pack and the gravel roads. ill be putting another set on when these wear down. the guy from your work is wrong, its a pretty smooth ride. think about it, the way the tire is designed there is always a tread on the ground so you wont have that out of balance feel as bad as other tires. well thats what i think of them anyway. i had 589's on for 3000 miles good tires, but had too much of a bouncy feeling. i do think the swamplites are a bit heavier than the 589's though.
