How long have you had the redcat? The air filters in these are very poor and let a ton of dirt past. Most likely the rings are bad or even the cylinder is scored. I recommend anyone that buys a Chinese to invest in a good air filter like a K&N or UNI to prevent this problem. At this point there is not much you can do but re ring and hone cylinder. Then get a good filter.

Default Smoking Engine on Red Cat 110

The redcat is about 2 years old, and the filter was dirty.....real dirty my son went thru mud, water, and everything else.... It was bogging down and it started smoking....I changed the muddy filter, and it runs but smokes and burns..... I had a feeling it was the rings....Now where can I go to get it boared out or should i just buy a new cylinder head? It is very hard in Virginia to find someone to work on these... The dealer I bought it from is little help,,, if he would answer my phone calls.... also where can I get some good parts? Thanks for your help RK
