Im kind of new to atvs, i mostly just know their names and just like to ride them, but ive heard about the governor or speed restrictor i heard that if you take it off it should make your atv go faster i was wondering if anybody knew were it was located and how to take it off?

There is a rev limiter, that you can bypass by getting an aftermarket cdi, like a Dynatek which i have. It gives a good power boost, but not much if anything on top speed, mabey 1-3 mph.

There is no speed restrictor except for the limiter screw on the throttle. The only thing you can do for speed is change the cdi unit. I dont know anyone that has high performance cdi for the hibird atv's. The most you will get out of that 150 is about 30-35mph. You can change gear ratio to make it faster but you will lose bottom end.
