What tires are you running????????????????
I currently have the 26" Mudlite XL's. Not too bad a tire but they are the old compound and are wearing very fast. I do quiet a bit of road riding but the fronts are wearing pretty fast. They do pretty good in the mud and not bad on the trails. Will try them in the rocks next month at Windrock. Next time I buy tires it might be the new Maxxis Mud Bug Radial. I would like to get radials this time so either Big Horns, XTR's, or the new Bugs??? All pretty good choices imo.

26-10-12 Mudlites all around on 06 Rubicon. Handles great, all around performance very happy. I ride hard pack, sand, mud, some gravel roads.
26-9r12 front 26-11r12 rear MudLite XTR on other 06 Rubicon. They do great in just about everything. They are just harder to steer than the plain mudlites. They do dig better in the mud but they will bury me faster in the sand. When they wear out I will most likely go back to mudlite 10's all around. They just over all handle better and the better performance in the mud on the XTR's is not enough over all to compensate for the extra workout I get from the handling and weight difference.

If I buy a set today do you think it would last longer with the new compound than the original mudlites would?
