Default 4 or 6 ply tire tread not important

I need advice on which tires to go with. I have a 06 vinson 500 that still has the stock tires on it, I believe they are 2 or 3 ply. The one rear has been punctured in the sidewall twice and now with a tube in it, leaks air slowly. Sidewalls are extremely thin. I'm looking for a cheap set of 4 or 6 ply tires. Does anyone have advice on which tire to go with??

I like the swamplites but very rarely ride mud. I do alot of hard trails, and back roads both asphalt and dirt and don't want to get mud tires when its not necessary. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Take a look at ITP Holeshot ATR Radials, for an all-around tire. 6-ply yet fairly light. Excellent snow tire!

I have ridden these on nasty old mine roads that are nothing but a pile of sharp rocks...not a scratch on them after years of riding........

Are you wanting to keep the stock rims????

the cheapest set of durable tires I would recommend are the Titan 489XT 6 ply tires. Good all around tire. I have heard of some selling the Terracross Radial (ITP) pretty cheap (check this forum). They are similar to the ITP Holeshot Radials RR speaks of.

You beat me to it propnut! I agree with the Titan 489's. I had them a few years ago and will be getting a set for my second ATV. The ITP 489's can be found pretty cheap at http://www.mudthrowers.com and look up ITP tires

GBC dirt devils wear well and are 6 ply. Good pricing also just do some seaching on the internet and you will find some great deals.
