Looking into getting new tires and got it down to the most basic Holeshot and the most basic Kenda Klaw tire as well. Heard that the holeshot wears down a lot faster but just wondering what everyone else thought. Kinda new to 4-wheelin but I do mostly trail ridin and I have a 02 400ex. Any suggestions?

 

Both the tires you mention are good tires but I like the Maxxis Razr 2 on my friends Raptor. The tread seams to last allot longer than the Holeshots! One negitive is they are a little heavy I guess you gota give to get.

 

i'd go with the Maxxis Razr 2 also since most of your ridung is on the trails,... BUT if you putting your quad on the track Holeshots are the way to go they can take corners like you wouldn't belive................shea.............

 

Iv had holeshots on my 400ex and yfz and they wear out quick and are overpriced i went to kenda knarly and love them. My friend has a set of klaws on his 400ex and hes been riding hard on them for 6 years!
