i was wondering if anyone has run rarz's in the 20 and 22 inch sizes. i was planning to buy a set for my raptor and needed to know if the 22in. took away alot of bottom end or not. if so i am going to get the 20in.

I've got 20's on my atc. They are a great tire. Very stable. Good all around tires. The bigger the tire the more top end you will have. If you get a smaller tire it will take away from your top end. It isn't much though. Maybe 3mph or so. I would get the smaller tires. It'll will make the bike more stable and lower to the ground. If you ride where there are alot of ruts then you might want the larger tire. An extra inch of ground clearance helps alot.

Tire size depends on what kind of riding you do..
The 22in will rob your bottom end a noticable about, but you should be alright with them.. I personally like the 20s because they come in a 6ply rating.. Havent put a hole in them yet and there on the back of my banshee, which sees lots of sharp rough terrain! Another thing i noticed about the razr tires is that they are actually a little taller than they claim (my 20's were actually 21 when they were new)

AdrenalinFreak, How would you rate the Razrs in all types of terrain? I want some 20" rears for my Scram but scared to lose too much traction in muddy situations...(also going down a size)

You also said that your 20" were in fact a 21" real size. What size rims are you running?

Thanks

The razrs are an excellent XC and MX tire, but they are not designed for any real mud boggin' I can usually go through mud that is 4-6 inches deep without to many problems, anything more and I start to case out on my rear skid. I would only recommend the Razr's if you do alot of trail riding though. They hookup great on just about all surfaces and they have lasted about as long as my stockers (dunlap's) did. About the sizing.. The 20in being 21in, When my tires were new they measured at a little over 21in, but now that my tread is down to %25 they are just over the 20in mark.. I am currently using stock banshee rims (i believe they are 10-9's )
