ATV road legal Allingment line
#1
Hi,
I got an ATV CFMOTO 500A, wich is road legal as it is licenced to go on the road, but happen to worn off very fast the front tyres, the tyres are the INNOVA road legal tyres. The front tyre a worn in the middle, it look like to be a toe problem as the front tyres are toe out of 24mm and are clear visible that they are open. there is same one to help me how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advantage for your time.
John

Could be high pressure or too much tow-out or both. 24mm sounds very excessive to me. I think you'd be better off with half that or less. Should be as simple as adjusting the tie-rod ends. I'm not familiar with those tires, but any "off-road" tire isn't going to wear well on pavement.

My toe out is 1/8" which is only about 3mm. 24mm toe out on any type of vehicle sounds like way too much to me.
Wear in the center of the tire is almost always caused by excessive tire pressure. For example my trailer tires are suppossed to have 80 psi but it eats the middle right off without touching the sides. I have to run them at 30 psi instead to get more even wear.

Thanks for your help, the problem with the tyres is that there is too much toe out, I just had an allingment line done to toe zero, I needs to drive a bit to see what happen. The tyr pressurre is 11 PSI, I tried to drop it to 7 PSI and happen to lose control on the road,, 11 PSI is ok as the tyre is not too soft on hard surfaces and not too hard off road. After testing I will let know if all is ok near.
Thanks John
