They have both have excellent wear. They are actually very comparable to each other in most areas, with some small differences. The Goodyear has better carcas for punctures, better climbing capabilities, and has a small advantage in under 5ph handlebar wabble. the bugs are slightly better in most mud, especially peanut butter mud becasue they clean out easier. Both are good in the snow, but the bugs are better, especially slushy snow. They both suck in sand. They are both very capable tires with a long list of people who love them. The reason you see less MudRunners is becasue of their slightly poorer mud performance and their price.

thatnks for the advice. i was leaning towards the bugs because of the price.mudrunners a $150+. the bugs i can go to royal distributing and buy 26's for like $75 a tire.bugs have a bigger lug. i have my own trails and we have some trails that go down in the creek and back up the our side. the problem is with that is the banks a pretty steep and are all wet and rutted.
i will probably buy them next year but by then my stock rawhides will be wore down that i cant cross creeks.
