I went with the Spartacus 8 ply radials from GreenBall. They are a pretty good trail tire so far.

id say for the money, the power duro grip radial tire, from rocky mountain atv is your best deal for the money, these tires are as good as the maxis bighorn for half the price.

I have a Kodiak 450 and I have been using 25-8*12 and 25-10*12 Mudlites AT's on my quad. They are very durable and I ride in some mud but usually on hardpacked trails. The reason I use these tires is because they are the lightest tire out there that I have researched. The fronts weigh 15 pounds and the back weigh 19.3.

Just put a set of Swamplites on my Big Bear. They look like they should do real good for my type of riding, bout the same type as you stated.

I just got some GBC Dirt Devil IIs. Been happy with them. Ride nice and have plenty of digging power to them.

Check out ITP XTR's they are kinda pricey. They are a radial tire. I have never owned a set but I hear they are smooth on the trials and good in light mud. I had a set of mudlites AT's and I was not impressed with them in the mud. Trails they did great.
