I just bought some 26x12x12 and 26x9x12 Goodyear Mudrunners for my Honda Rubicon. My question is what is the ideal tire pressure for this set up? The maximum pressure is 6 psi. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm running 5 up front and 4 in the rears. Pressure is probably a matter of opinion and expected conditions since these are sturdy meats and don't seem to flatten out easily.

I just recieved my goodyear mudrunners from treadepot in georgia.26-12x12,26-9x12.Pictures dont do them any justice, they are agressive looking.Sorry to be so long winded but wanted to know if your front tires sit lower than the back ones do.Tire pressure on the side says 6.5 psi,so i aired them to 6.5 front and back.Does anybody run their air pressures different to compensate for the height difference.Any replies appreciated.

well if u do like a lot of people and air them up to like 50 psi or something just to get a lil more clearance, you'll get a terrible riding bike and usually a stuck one. airin ur tires up tight to gain in height makes the tire really rounded on the tread surface and u won't be gettin but about 2"-4" of tread on the ground. running low air pressure in ur tires, u might lose a bit of ground clearance but u will get almost all of the tread on ur tires ALWAYS on the ground and digging. and it also gives u a lot smoother ride.

I run 5 in the front and 3 1/2 pounds in the rear for normal use and 5 front and back for cruising.
