Default Radial tires vs Bias tires

I've been wondering for a while which is better;radial vs bias.I have a 400 sport quad that came with radial tires stock(Dunlop KT331/335 front/rear).There's been times when I wanted spin&times I wanted grip and got the opposite. What's your opinion?(Maybe this should be a poll?I don't know)

It really is personal preference I say if you have the extra bucks then go with Radial but if you are tight on cash go Bias

I like radials better. All else being equal, I think they have more traction.

You can't really compare stock balloons to aftermarket tires...

Doesn't matter if it's radial or bias ply... aftermarket is a totally different league of tire.

Aftermarket tires will corner better and offer better traction, period.
The sidewalls are stronger and stiffer, profiles are better, and tread is better.

I do think my Dunlop radials on my KFX450 are some of the better stock tires I've ridden... maybe because they ARE radials? I dunno. Not a terrible tire though... I kept them rather that selling off, because they would be an OK tire for hard times, or my 400's.

I am like you though... I would like to get more feedback from people who have ridden the same aftermarket tire in bias ply and radial.

The only two tires I can think of off the top of my head that come both ways is Kenda Klaws (bias & radial) and Holeshots XC/SR (bias/radial).

The rest seem to either be radial or not...

Thanks to all who replied!duster-I'm pretty sure those tires on your KFX are the same as on my DVX.I have a friend that has a KFX and his were. That's a nice machine btw.I too;would like to see a heads up comparison apples to apples. My radials are wearing really good is the best I can say about them right now.DODGE57HEMI-I would go that route but I'm in a spot where I'd like to upgrade the whole machine.Unfortunately;I have other priorities that come first.I also think the whole Maxxis line is extremely overpriced. They're the most expensive atv tire company out there.I work at a tire shop that deals with auto, light truck, heavy truck, and farm.Everyone I talk to says for farm;radial is better.I think I'm gonna go with some cheap bias and use the same rims until I can get the machine I really want.
