Default DWT Diablo Beadlock Wheel Review and Moapa Tire Preview

Thought you guys might like this. I just finished up a review of the DWT racing Diablo Beadlock wheels and was also given the chance to test out a set of dwt's soon to be released Moapa tires. You can read the full review and also watch the video review here=

I've seen the DWT beadlocks. They are a great wheel. Heavy, tough and great protection... with a price to match. I'm also not fond of the multi wheel fit with the empty lug holes. However, if you ride in an area that is bolder strewn, they are one of the few wheels worth the money.

Agree with every thing you said Bossman except for them being heavy. Most regular aluminum wheels from itp, ams, vision and even douglas run right at 10#s so to have a beadlock wheel weigh in under 11#s is pretty impressive.

And I forgot to mention that the Moapa tires were a test set and not the final production design....I know I mention it in the review just thought I should mention it here also. And for anyone looking at them and thinking they look like bighorns at first glance you may think this but they are very different. As a test set they performed great and I can only imagine how much better the final design will be with all the testing and feedback DWT has done with them.

Those are some nice looking wheels. Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on the Moapa tires.

Yep, if they only weigh in at 11 lbs, that's not bad at all. The guy that I talked to said he weighed his right out of the box, and they were 13 lbs. Maybe he had a crappy scale. Even if they are 13 lbs, that still acceptable for what you are getting.

Just got back from a trip to West Virginia and both the wheels and tires did great. Didn't have any issues getting stuck in the mud or any punctures from the rocks. The y did everything perfectly. I even tried climbing a waterfall and almost got it up all the way. Would have made it if this 1 large rock didn't have 4 inches of algea built up on it....lol
