cv joint removal

Question cv joint removal

hi i am new here so thanks for your patience. I have a question on how to remove the rear cv joint on my 02 polaris. the shaft came out of the cv hub and i need to remove the hub from the rear differential. Thanks for any advice.

any body please? I have tried prying it on the top and bottom I think that it is supposed to come out of the diff but not sure

When ever i remove the rear axle ( and I seem too often lately) I use 2 pry bars between the cv cup and the case.
One on each side and POP, she's off. Mine is only an 09 so I imagine yours will be a little more difficult.
I found that just one pry bar doesnt work as well. But one on each side will pop it right out.
There is a compression ring on the splines that is what is holding it in.

I find it alot harder getting it back in then taking it out.
