I had a set of Bi/Tri Claws on my previous quad and was satisfied with their performance. But I think that in the 25 inch series of tires there are better performers out there now.

Do you think that the 589s could go through more mud than the BearClaws or Mud Bugs?

Mounted pictures of the new 589.

Will they go through mud like a Mud Runner or a Mud Bug? I've read the test in ATV magazine where the 25 inchers performed admirably. Does anybody have any real life experience with these?

Hey, I just both some bearclaws for my trx 300, and they seem to have a very good grip on them. I havn't had time to try then, but hopefuly this week-end I will. I don't know about the Titan 589 tires but they look good also.

The 589 will easily out-mud the MudBugs, Mud Runners, and Bearclaws. One of the smoother riding mud tires out there too....

BigMud2000, I have to disagree with you that the 589's will out-mud the Goodyear Mudrunners. I have the Mudrunners on my kodiak and my friend has the 589's on his quad. My tires can go anywhere his tires can go and the mudrunners also ride smooth. I dont have any experience with the Mudbugs but KISSOFDEATH does and i dont think he would agree either.

I I knnnoww th-th-the d-d-dittt d-d-devels ar-r-re r-rough r-r-r-rid-d-ding on th-the t-t-t-train-n-n t-t-tracks. But other than that I love em. With 6 ply tires you have to expect a rougher ride but few if any flats. Think I'll look at 4 ply next time. My friend has bearclaws and I'm very impressed with how they handle all types of driving.

I do'nt know the conditions you ride in, so I can't say, but here where we ride I've seen Mud Runners, Mud Bugs, and 589's as well as jsut about any other type of mud tire out there and in my experience, the guys running the 589's and mudbugs can sorta hang with bikes with the more agressive mud tires(Vamps, Outlaws) With the 589's doing slightly better than the mudbugs, but the bikes I've seen that are running Mud Runners pretty much have to sit back on the trail with stock -tired bikes, becasue they just can't pull and clean compared to more aggressive mud tires. I'm sure they're good quality tires, and they probably are better than stockers in the mud, but from what i've seen, there is no way they can hang with the big boys...

I know the Mudrunners will not work as well as Outlaws,Vamps or Tri claws in the mud i never said they would. But i do know the Mudrunners will work as good as the 589's from my experience driving both of these tires. My friend and i both have stock kodiaks oo,o1, the only difference is the tires. In the mud and snow we have been in there is not much difference between them. Thats why i dont agree with you saying the 589's can easily out mud the Mudrunners. Those people you have seen with Mudrunners who sit on the side of the trails must not know how to ride them. Alot of the time its rider skill just as much as the tires.

Thats what I was gonna say, that maybe your just a better rider than your buddy. Try trading up bikes for a day and seeing if you notice any difference.

MUDRUNNERS will hang with 589's anyday. I have them on 2 of my quads and most of my friends ride
VAMPS and TRI-CLAWS and I stay with them. They can
go through more than I can but They run 27" and 28" and I run 25". The MUDRUNNERS, 589'S & MUDBUGS
are about the same. The VAMPS, TRICLAWS & OUTLAWS are better in the mud but the 1st 3 are good at everything.
