2003 Warrior 350
#1
Hi all, new to atvc. I bought an 03 warrior 350 two weeks for $700. It is in excellent shape cosmetically. So the story is, I bought it from a friend's neighbor whose daughter passed away and it has been sitting in the garage for a couple years. After putting a battery in, it started up after a few attempts. I changed the oil, new spark plug, air filter, and ran some fresh 93 through it with fuel stabilizer. The quad runs good with the exception of low rpms. When revving it up it will start popping from the carb. Im guessing the carb needs to be cleaned/rebuilt. Has anyone else has this problem and know exactly what it is? if I open up the throttle it will rev up fine. BTW the bike is stock.

I would suggest taking carb off, cleaning real good and rebuild. If still popping, it's probably running lean. When engine is warm, take plug out and check it. Black=rich, white=lean, tan=perfect. Ethanol destroys carbs by gumming them up when the bike/quad sits unran for long periods.
