Dirt-
Hey, I'm running 27x9.75x12 Bi Claws up front, with 27x12x12 Tri Claws on the rear of my 'Cat, on the STOCK AC rims. They are a 12x6.5 rim. With tires, the manufacturers always post heigth, then width, then rim diameter-always in that sequence, but with rims, I honestly don't know which way they measure it. In your case, I am assuming your tire would actually be a 20x8x10-thinking that your 20" tall tires measure 8" wide, on 10" rims, is that correct? Or, am I wrong, that they really do measure 10" wide, on 8" rims? I'm used to larger stuff, so it kind of seems funny to me to have a tire width actually wider than the wheel rim diameter-like I said though, I could be wrong there. So, with that in mind, I hate to say it, but I don't honestly know if you need a 8"x10" rim, or a 10"x8" rim??? Ordering the wrong one would really be a hassle!

Somebody must know the true dimensions or wheel guide measurements???

Good luck,

Mike

Yeah, this stuff is confusing. I've never had to buy tires and rims before. Everywhere I look the size of tire 20x10x8 means 20 tall 10 wide and 8 wheel dia. but the rims ie. 8x9 is 8 dia. 9 wide. I don't know if I should get the 8x8 or match up the tire with 8x10 rims. I know there has to be someone who knows what I'm talking about and has the answer.

I'll restate the question in a simpler form: with 20x10x8 tires, what size rims should I get?

Howdy,

If I were you I would stay with 8X8 that is wat comes on a Blaster factory. My Racer came factory with 10X8's on it, and I have 10X8 Douglas blue lables with 22X11X10 Holeshot XCTs mounted on them and they fit perfect.

Hey,

I forgot to say that I have a freind with fasttrekers on a 250X they are 20X10X9s, and he loves them. Infact I've been thinking about buying a set of 20X10X10s just to play around with on my Racer. They look great, and my buddy says that they hook-up well and slide good on a stock 87 250X. They should be a blast for a built Quadracer, they should break loose at will and slide on command. My Holeshots are a bit grabby in a slide. Anyway you should like the trekkers alot on a blaster.
