hey,
i'm thinking of buying a pair of rear itp holeshot tires for my blaster, and wanted to know how they perform in different conditions.

I run Holeshots on all my sport bikes. Probably only the Standard Holeshot (20", 4-ply) is appropriate for a Blaster. The XC (20", 6-ply) and XCT (22", 6-ply), are more (heavy!) tire than you want on a medium size bike.

We ride desert. Hardpack, rocks, sand, you name it. Probably everything except deep mud. The tires do great in everything. They will wear fast though!!! I think the Standards are made of a softer compound than the XC or XCT.

the new dirt wheels did a test of sport tires. YZGUY is right, a 6 ply is nice, but the extra weight will slow it down. I have hole shots, they work fine.
