I have a 1999 Yamaha Banshee, with +2+1 Strong Arm a-arms. I am thinking of buying a set of aftermarket shocks. I am looking at Works, Elka's , or mabey even PEP(but there kinda pricey) just wondering if anyone had some feedback they could offer on these shokcs.

Thanks

I have works front and rear on my 400EX. The travel up front just goes on and on... These things are plush, and I can't bottom them no matter how hard I try.

Go with the Elka's they are alot better than works. You can go with SSD to lower the ride height. Give C&D racing a call and they will treat you very good. (308) 368-7805

My input may not count to much, but considering I'm starting a new chassis business, it may be of some value. I have spoken w/ certain 250 Pro class riders fom Ky, who run Axis shocks. I was considering PEP until he told me that Wayne gets his shock parts from Works. Axis is a good shock, but a bit pricey. He also mentioned Elka, pronounced L K, which is who our rolling chassis will be having it's shocks from. Their prices are closer to Works, with quality equal to Axis.
