Mud Tires for Rancher 4x4
#1
I am looking for some aftermarket tires for my Rancher 4x4 and would like some advice. I want a tire that is gives really good traction in the mud and also gives a smooth ride on harder terrain. I have looked at a couple of options: Mudrunner, Gator, Blackwater, Mudbug,589 M/T and 589 M/S (which appear to be about the same tire, and the Dirt X/T.
I'm also thinking about the size being 25". If you have any advice on these tires or others, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,

I am impressed with the dirt devils, they are a much better tire for mud than the superswampers i just took off.I have gone through stuff {I previously had to shift into 4wd to make it through}in 2wd with the devils without effort.Hope this helps. I have 25in Mudrunners on my Rancher and they give a pretty good ride and traction in all terrins that i have tried them in has been very good. They are a firmer ride due to being 6ply vs 2ply for the stock Dunlops. If I was to buy a different tire other than the mudrunners I have from what I have seen around here and on the forums The Beartrackers sound pretty well. Just my 2 cents worth !!
