Has anyone heard any more about this? The price is around $150 less than Highlifter's version.

Where did you see this? I would be interested also. I don't like the cable on the other system.

The Warn version looks to be cable activated also. You can see a pic of it at ATV Parts Depot.

I think about these things evey once in a while, but I just haven't been unhappy or seen a problem yet. I feel that it steers fine, climbs fine and runs quite well. I do watch alot of friends attempt hills and not make it, end up in a bad situation, climb back down the hill and say "I forgot i didn't have it in 4-wd. I have yet to be in that situation.
