how do i tighten the front shocks on my 99 polaris trail blazer

 

What do you mean by tightning? Pre-load? Loose? Not sure what you want to know.

 

i mean tightening the spring there is a nut on a bolt. the bolt is round then gets square at the top but i can't turn the nut without the blot spinning even if i put a socket on the square and hold it. is that what i am saposed to do
