non aggressive 25" tires for 02 Grizz.
#1
I have the Mudrunners 26" on Douglas on my 660 Grizz.Great for a mud and a chalenging stuff. BUT a rough ride..? I want to buy 12to13" turf/and my butt/ friendly tires, useful in variety dry! conditions like rock crawling.Would Cepek's spider trak be a good choice ??? OR these tires are TOO aggressive.I looked into Titan HD etc., but I am unable to make any decision. What do you guys think???????

I hear that MaxxisBighorns are good for trails and rocks. Carlisle TraiWolfs may be worth researching too. Don't know about the ride though. Its surprising to hear that the Mudrunners are rough for you. They rate the best for hardpack ride in accordance with all-purpose tires. I guess you will want to stay away from 589's, Gators, and MudBugs.

DU,
the Mudrunners are excellent tires.Very good on the hardpack as you said!!I ride on very narrow, muddy, technical trails, constantly over exposed roots. The mudrunners are a must right now. I can not complain,I just want to replace them with 25" light tire/light steering, cushy ride and easy on my lawn/for more aggressive summer riding and chores around the house.Something like Viper or Titan HD field trax.I'd like to buy 13",for a better stability,or 12 " on C rims/they may be 1" offset, someone claimed on this Forum/.But the problem is, that C rims are only 12".And I did not find a tire 25x12x13 which would be acceptable. All those Viper type tires are 25x 12/13/x9/10/.Maybe I should just use the spacer and put my stock tires on.
Again, you are absolutely right about the Mudrunners....

If Can Believe This?:
I bought an aerator for my yard this year. I pulled it with my 650 while my Gators were on. I made sure to use low gear and 4X4. I DID NOT tear up my yard in any way. I was gentle on the throttle. The yard was quite wet to as one is supposed to aerate while the ground is quite moist. I was surprised.

I have a set of Chen Shin Jackals on my 425 Magnum and they have been great.I have 3 years of riding on them and still have half tread they ride smooth and still get good traction. You dont see many out there but they are good.
