i was just looking around for new shocks(i plan on getting elkas or works)and i came across a site that had pre-posted questions. question #11 talked about shocks and the resivoirs. the question asked " If I purchase non reservoir shocks now can i add reservoirs later?" i started to think about that questoin. Is it possible to put a resivoir on your stock shocks or can u only do this to a after market shock.

they have 22 great questions and aswers about work shocks and shocks in general check it out at http://www.motojoe.com/ then click under Works Front ATV Shocks then on some yellow star thing

you would have to check with the company that the product originated from . other than that, after market shocks are modifyable to my knowledge.

Most rear shocks can be rebuilt and revalve and other mods done to make them work for your riding style and size. As for the fronts the only stock shocks I know of that can have rezzies added would be the ohlins on the speed and cannibal. Most companys use front shock that can't be modifed to save cost.

What type of riding are you planning on with your machine. Trail riding, mx or xc racing. If you plan on racing it I would spend the money on the elka's. If this is something that you want for trail and play riding I would save some of the money for only hop-ups and go with dual or triple rated works shocks.
