Anyone ever hear of a fox brand of shocks? I am thinking about one for my 300EX, its gas operated and stuff but I didnt know if they were good or not. I am sure that they are better than stock and probably for the money I am gonna spend arent bad. But I just wanna make sure. Thanks for any info you can give me.

I'm not familiar with them other than to say they are being used on the new Cannondale quad, according to their specs. If the other components on the machine are any yard stick, I'd think the Fox shocks would be top rate.

Fox shocks are very good shocks they are used on the rears of Polaris's..i know the scrambler for sure maybe sopme others too. Also Fox shocks have been used on mountain biks for awhile...that is probably why cannondale is using their shocks on their new quad. hope i helped some.

I am gettin a 3 month old rear for my 300Ex for $110. Its in good shape and everything works on it. I figure that since I cant afford a 400-700 rear shock till this summer I might as well get this one and if it works good then keep it and if its not great then I can still sell it this summer and buy a new one.

I've used Fox shocks on streetbikes for years and they worked great.
