What are some good front shocks that I could get for my 300ex that cost less than $300/pair. Also where could I buy them and the phone number/website for that place.

 

That's a tough price to match but you might be able to find a used set of Works around somewhere.

 

Dennis kirk has works front shocks for 304.99 a pair. They are dual rate without cans.

Does anyone know how good these shocks would be? I am thinking about getting a pair.What do the cans actually do on shocks?

 

I broke my front shock on my 300ex so I ordered the Works dual rates without the cans.They are $265 at hy tech atv. When I get them I will let everybody know what I think. later

I have these dual rate/no can Works shocks on mine...They seem to work great. I think the cans allow more oil or nitrogen, which makes them resist fading. Unless you go through a ton of rough stuff, I would think they would do the job.
