Default Razr 2 or ITP xct?

I was wondering what do you think is a better tire, will both of these be able to get me through the occasional mud hole?

i have the xct's on my 400ex and they hook up well, but dont do crap in mud , they're not bad in soft sand either, and they are very good in the woods i havent used the razrs yet so i cant tell you anything about them

i had razrs on the warrior and they did good in mud and hard pack but they were 20 in.. i think either way u cant go wrong... if u do the xct's go to dennis kirk and get a set with rims 125$ a piece tire and rim and rim is t-9 alumin and the tires just alone are 90$ and the rims are 60-80$ so its a steal.. and free shiping

SuzukiOzark,

What machine are these going on? I just got the new Razr 2s and they are sweet. Big deep lugs, 22" size for more ground clearance in the back, plus the fronts are six ply unlike the Holeshot fronts that are only four ply. After seeing a Cannondale Speed waste a tire sidewall (stock Holeshot fronts) that kind of scared me away from four ply front tires.

The rear Razrs are nice and wide and easily cover the exposed rim. The fronts are like knives. I can't wait until I can start carving with these.

Razr2 tires are the best that I have used. They hold 5/8 ice screws.
For pure mud and snow the maxxis all traks work very well.

I agree Razr 2's are the sh*t.I have Holeshots in front and have had a flat and wasnt really bombing too hard.Ive had Razrs before and they werent 2's but i really liked them so the 2's should be the bomb. late, zubbeyboy

I have the ITP's on my 400 ex. I live in Alaska and do alot of various riding:

a. Once they hit the mud, they turn into slicks
b. Constantly battling flats

But on packed dirt, you better be in front of me, because they throw up the nastiest dirt cloud, meaning they hook the hell up, especially on the hole shot.
