Sand Paddles?
#1
I am currently quad-less at the moment but i will be getting a new bike (Z-400 or Predator) and heading up to the dunes in Or. Im looking for a good yet low buget sand Paddle. Ive been looking at the Sand Devil. would this be a good choice? Why/Why Not? whats the Pro/Con with V grooved vs. Streight. I've also heard to get molded rather than bonded or glued paddles. which are molded and which are glued? Thanks for the Info:

i have a z400 with just a pipe and pro-flo k&n and jetted, i have 8 paddle skat trak haulers 20x10x10, my girl weighs only 90 lbs and its her ride, if it were mine i would get 7 paddles. If you are not into a bunch of power mods, I would suggest the 7 paddles, and as far as I know, you are forced to buy Haulers (glue on). I ride only in the dunes and my paddles(7 paddle haulers) lasted about 4 years on my 440ex.I don't have much opinion on the whole v blade vs. straight blade. I have run both, I can't tell a whole lot of difference. I am not small (220lbs) maybe thats why? Drop your front sproket one tooth and get the 7's.

Sand Devils are the best bang for the buck. Not the lightest and only two choices, but you asked for affordability.. They will last forever also.. If you put a pipe and filter on you should be good. A seven might be better. I run them on my Dale. My brother runs an 8 paddle Glider/ Hauler Combo on his Dale.. Just don't put a tire on w/ a deep cup.
