I know this has probably been ask hundreds of times but can you run 27s w/out a lift? I'm wanting mudlites or bearclaws.
Thanks,Dee

i'm not sure but you might, my bro has 26 vampires on his praire 650 and he is pretty close to rubbing just about everywhere. you problably will need the HL fender kit but i'm not a big fan of it or impressed with it. i own a rubi and went with 25" gators no lift kit or fender kit and i go anywhere the other big dogs go. they will also stick out past your fenders and will mud and water protection. might mean alot until your wet and covered with mud on a cold day and all pissed off . whatever you choose i'm sure you will love it!

Some folks have trouble with 27's...others don't. Usually, the tires with more aggressive tread have more trouble than the general purpose treaded tires. The choices you listed would fall into that category. I can't say for sure, but I would think that they would fit just fine.

Most 27" that I have seen rub on the muffler or muffler heat shield. It all depends on the type of tire. If you don't wan't to lift it go with 26" and you should have no problems.
