I would like to put ITP Mudlites 25 x 10 x 12 on all four stock wheels will this cause any problems with the steering or handling?
Also does anyone know the width of the stock wheels for this quad ? 2003 model.

 

I have a 2003 Honda 450S and I have 25x8x12 on the front, and 25x10x12 on the back. 8inch front, and 10inch back. The 12 is the rim size. I'm thinking of going with the mudlite's as well, but not 12" all around. One guy posted that the 12" doesn't fit well on the rims. I'm thinking of going 26x10x12 all around. Let us know what you do.

I just noticed that you had said that you want to go with the 10" good choice. The 26inch Mudlite's are XT rated and have a deeper lug depth than the 25's. Somebody else could give more information on this.

You should have no problems with those sizes of tires. I just bought a Foreman 450ES and am getting 26x12x12 mudbugs put on the rear and 26x10x12 mudbugs on the front. I guess I will find out if they rub or not but from what I hear I should be OK. 27" and up apparently do rub without a liftkit.
