I just got my Works shocks on my 300ex and I love them. they're real smooth but since I have have a broken leg I haven't been able to test them on any jumps. anyways when I do a wheelie or anytime the front end comes off the ground I feel a little pop. It's when the shock fully extends out is when it does it. I didn't if this was nromal or what. It's just a slight pop but I can feel it. so what do you guys think?? later

Mine does this to. If you lift up the front end, mine does it also. I think it's just when everything gets to the bottom of it's travel...nothing to worry about.

Mine do it too. I have Works triples w/ cans on my 400ex. I think that it is the loose aluminum plates that go around the shock body clicking together. it is very annoying. when I get the energy, I will take them apart and figure out a way to stop it.

Every set of works shocks I have owned have done this. It makes the suspension feel sloppy. I'd love to hear if there's a solution.

Regards,

Dennis

The first set of works that I got many years ago did this and I called them and asked why. The ansewr was that they do not put a rubber bushyng inside the shock. What you hear is the finish of the travel and the metal piece at the end of the shaft is hitting the end of the body. Every pair that I have had scence then have done the same.
