how to upgrade the suspension??
#1
I have a Suzuki lt 160 that my wife and kids (12, 15, 17) are the main riders of. (Although the boys ride my bayou whenever they can)
I am trying to figure out if I can put larger tires on the front without rubbing. It now has 20 x 7 x 8 "goldenboy tires on it. I have found goodyear has a tire, att 902 that is 22 x 9 x 8. my question is this.....
how can I tell if it will rub or not? do I just turn the wheel and take a measurement? is there a way to tell? or do I just go for it?
now for the other thing.....can I take the shocks off a quadsport 230 or 250 and put them on this quad? How would I find out?
the thing is, we like how reliable this quad is, after putting a Kand N air filter, rejet kit and drilling out the muffler a bit it goes pretty fast.(fast enough for me anyway). So now it is time to beef up the suspension. Any comments are welcome.
