Default engine help please

Hi,
I was riding my quad the other day (Suzuki 160 4 stroke; yes I know it is little) and the engine seemed to be running fine. The was a slight pop sound and the engine died. Now every time it starts it will idle fine but as soon as you press the throttle it will immediately die. Does anyone have any thoughts? Please throw out every and all guesses as I really do not want to make a trip to the dealer.

thanks!

ryan

Was the pop intake pop or exhaust pop?
