Is anyone going to Florence this weekend. It would be great to meet some foryum members... I will be on the GReen V-force...Staying at the H-loop of Honeyman.

TECHTIP101- i will be there sunday with my wife and a friend, i will be on my silver raptor and my wife will be on a red 440 ex if you see us come over and say hi .we will probably be spending some time at comp hill so maybe we wiil see you there.how do you like the new v force so far?

There's a bunch of Oregon/Washington riders on there that you could probably get to come out and play for the day/weekend. I can't make it this weekend, but I'm sure some of the others could.

duneittilludie So far the V-force has been a blast. It takes some gettin use to though. I just picked up a set of paddles for it and I am planning on testing them out this wekend. We'll see you there. You shouldn't be difficult to spot on a silver Raptor...

Which is better to stay at, H loop at Honeyman or Driftwood II?

They hooked up nice! I was very impressed.

 

BARapt This time of the year you can not ride out of the H-Loop. You can only ride from there between Oct 1st and April 1st. You can always ride from the driftwood. There are no services in the Driftwood though. For me I prefer to trailer to the staging area and have comforts like a heated shower and bathrooms. I have stayed at both and even though this time of year you have to trailer out I can sleep in a heated yurt without sand in my ....well you get the idea. I would take my truck out and camp on the sand before I did the Driftwood. It's just a parking lot. But hey that's just me. My idea of ruffing it is going riding without taking PS2 and no Off-Road Fury.

 

they have showers at driftwood now, or should i say they are built but weren't open last time i was there but they should be now. that ride out of there is terrible though.
