Hey all, I'm brand new to these boards, and I am just now beginning to hear tidbits of information regarding new regulations on sand camping.

I've been out of the loop for a while, so please bear with me. For the past three years, I have taken my quad down to Coos Bay and camped on the sand at Hauser.

In the past, I'd just drive down there, and pick a spot on the dunes to camp for a few days.

So my questions are: Am I still allowed to camp on the sand? If so, I'll need a permit, correct? Is is too late to try and get a permit for July 4th?

For the 4th you may be ok if you do it now! But yea, everything is still the same except no booze if your on the sand. If your on concrete you can drink. Sounds stupid huh?
