Hey everybody we just got back from St. Anthony this past weekend. It was real nice and hot. We stayed at the Desert Oasis campground really nice and the camp host were very nice and friendly. Full hookups and open camping closer to the dune access road. We also checked out the Egin Lake campgrounds and I would be real surprised if they were open by June. It looks like they fenced off the big loop area back by the trees and its hard to tell right now what the finished area will look like, but all the new bathrooms"out houses" look nice though. The sand was very very very soft and loose.

Ride safe.

Except for the heat it sounds like a good trip. It's tough to climb the big hills when the sand is so sfot, huh?

Keep us all updated especially on the BLM camp.

Hey RoyBanshee we were there this past weekend too. We also stayed at the Oasis aka Sandhills Resort. We just couldn't find Choke or Devils, I don't think we went far enough. Oh well. Your right though the sand was really soft. Anyway just saw that you were also from Roy and you were up there as well, thought I would drop a line.

I was at st anthony this weekend and it was great. Thunderstorms almost every night but never got rained on. Went to choke two days, sand was pretty soft but that was fine. Only saw one little accident where a guy rolled his raptor. I think he was fine but he layed there a while. Desert oasis store got broke into and the people stole everything. Food, money, parts and even the cash register. Overall it was a great trip.

Ya the raptors ran up choke in 2nd. It was pretty sweet. They ran awesome. I weigh about a buck 60 and so does dan on the other raptor. I didn't get to see brian's 1100 run out on the dunes. He brought it by camp and showed it to us but didn't see it run. I took a little ride with him when he was on his raptor though.

I don't think they caught who broke in to the store but it wasn't people that were riding at the dunes. It was a little car. There had been a bunch of break ins around town and they think it is the same person.
