We were there last week/weekend... The waters edge is closed from Pole 6 on.. you can camp behind it.. but it has pushed the majority of campers down the beach and by Thursday night the beach was packed. They started turning people away Friday night.... it was crazy. The beach was like a freeway.. it seemed like the majority of the people weren't there to ride.... just to party and drive their trucks and cars up and down the beach... haha! The dunes weren't crowded at all.. a little torn up... and we had a little bit of rain Sat night.. just enough to get your chairs wet but not enough to put out the fire.. haha! Had a great time... won't admit to the 2 times the bike ended up on it's side... haha but had a great time nonetheless!!! Looked for DaBeechMan at the drags on Sat.. but no many people were there.... so I'm guessin you weren't out once again.. haha! They added a hump to the middle of the drag strip at pismo,why?

 

Not sure.. I noticed that too... and a few people actually hit it pretty hard.... maybe DaBeechman knows?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

why would they put a hump in the middle of the sand drags? beech, do u have ne defining stuff on ur quad, ne thing other than a red 250r?

 

I havent been out for a while, but on the 5th people made the starting line part way up the strip. It is probably remnants of that starting line that you are talking about.

Yea thats crap they couldnt handle the whoops so they pushed it up that was pretty stupid, a good rider can ride through those whoops easly... Maby someone with a truck will smooth it out...

 

The whoops were pretty bad. They werent anything you would want to hit in 4th gear. Even if you had a really nice suspended bike

How did the strip look? was it getting flat again or is it still tore back? Beech might be doing some good ol' dunin' this weekend. LOL my dune bike can still beat OOC though! lmao
