We ended up camping about 100 yards south of pole 5 and maybe 50 feet further in from the pole.

Was that down there close to Pole 6? In the first dune? I was there about 6p-7p. Somewhere in there. I think there was a guy on a black and orange bike getting up some major air.

we had all sorts of problems. We ended up making it out there for about 20 minutes when the chain off one of the bikes came flying and cracked a case. Next time maybe...

 

blackandred, ahh u musta just missed me. i was riding around 4 for awhile, didn't see anyone. when you heading back out? when is everyone else heading back out?

 

I'm not sure when I'll be heading back out again. I'm more of a trails person and love Hollister. I'd like to get back over there again. I'll have to see who I normally run with is going over to Pismo again. The only dates that have been tossed around that I've heard have been Labor Day Weekend (and I'm not looking forward to that. Coming back to Fresno is MAJOR traffic on 41.) and Sept 26th-28th.

I will be there again this weekend,it was jacked up on the weekend so i left early and went fishing...same ole sparks bike at the drags and the jumps were worked..

 

Blackandred you should go the way threw avenal i think its 33 much faster and no traffic.

 

How do you get to Avenel. I know that you turn left at 41/33 (Reef City). Do you take that left to Parkfield right before the 46/41 split? It's the backup at 41/33 that is so dang nasty.

Well now i cant make it to the portugees weekend, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] harry says he cant get my motor done till the 14th and i wunna make sure i break in the engine right, so i guess ill have to wait for labor day.
