Being it was my first time at pismo in many many years - I decided to go out for a night ride...

I was out past the flats (just kickin' it by the fence) - there was nobody out there except a few trucks - when a guy on a shee' comes up to me says "How the fu%^ do I get out of here". I told him just to follow the highway out... Look for the signs and keep going. So I'm heading back to camp, and just before comp hill I see the same shee' laying upside down and no rider in sight. Kinda wierd.. I circle the bike, and see nobody.

Somebody let off some fireworks and it help light up the sky for a second - and I see a guy on the top of a tall dune. I ride up to him, and he tells me that he stopped to take a pi$$ and his shee' took off without him. We laughed for a minute, and went to check out his bike. After flipping it back over, it started up fine, and the guy followed me back to camp.

Lesson #1- don't ride at night in unfamiliar territory
Lesson #2 - fireworks can be very helpful!

Lesson #3 - Don't stop at the top of a dune to take a leak without setting the brake and putting the bike in gear.

Ask Chris 142. He had an ATC 250R that he had since it was new. He let some guy ride it out at Rasor. The guy parked it at the top of a huge dune, and didn't leave it in gear. So you can guess what happened!!!
