Thanks Batoutahell!! I agree, wherever the fencing is that is coming down.. it is a victory!! What would that say to the BLM if we didn't show our support to take it down... ?? That we don't care if they continue to put up more fencing???? I have to say I am a little surprised by the lack of support, but I will be out there with "Friends of Oceano Dunes" showing my support.. it's a 4 hour ride for me each way but I feel it's worth the drive....a fence is a fence!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Yeah those have a way of multiplying(sp), pretty soon there will be no riding area at all. All of us need to pitch in and show our support. If I am not working that weekend I will be there and will bring as many people as I can. If everyone that rides Pismo gave 30 mins of their time, it would be done in that time and not any one person would have to miss too much riding time. But if nobody pitches in then there are going to be a few that are going to miss alot of riding time. Alot of you have the ***** (excuse me ladies) to ride Pismo, SO HAVE THE ***** TO HELP OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


P.S. Anyone that doesnt like what I have to say can PM me and it is up for discussion, but it wont change the way I feel.

OOC I too totally agree with you. Most in my group like to b!tch about the closure (and I told them so!) but don't really seem to care to help take down the fences. Some would probably just care about being the first out there on the soft, smooth sand.

My calendar is marked, and my gloves are out. Are yours?

will u guys be out there the first weekend of october? i'll be up there and i jus found out that i will have more than 2 hours to ride that weekend. we canceled some plans so i will have some free time to help out.

 

What a guy, Cro. Glad to see someone from the area will be there to support us. I cant make because of a work related meeting. I have a bunch of buddies that are supposed to make it. Does anyone know for sure what time and where to meet?

I got an email the other day from Friend of Oceano Dunes and it said about 7:30am somewhere for an orientation. I'd say call the park.
