RIM SIZE

Default RIM SIZE

are there any pros or cons when it comes to rim size on paddles 8in. or 10in.

hi, there is pros and cons, but for your situation i would go with the 10" wheels because you will have less tire flex. People use 8" because they are less capable of getting damaged but i dont see why sand will damage rims so your safe.

Tires mounted on 8-inch rims tend to be more tall and round. This increases forward traction, but makes it harder to slide. They also ride a little softer due to the larger side wall.

I think 10-inch rims look better.

From what my sand drag buddies tell me, tires on 8 in rims expand better at high rpms causing the tire to float better instead of digging. But what do I know, I got 10s on my Banshee.

you always hear the smaller rim works better, but what do i know i run 12"
