My wifes 300ex has 22X11X10 8 paddle Skat Trak Edges and hers goes up Olds hill in 3rd just fine, so I would assume that a z400 would have no problems using Haulers

v paddles are better for turning and roosting. straight paddles are for all out drag and hill climbing. I have run both and can say first hand that straight blades hookup better and get you to the top faster.

The V shape I'm running now dont even roost (much). Stock tires do about the same. But they do help hill climbing.

I have straight paddles and I have used V paddles and I can turn just as good with my straight paddles.

i would never go back to v paddles. straight paddles are much better. Plus they throw more sand

I bought 8 paddle haulers for my Yfz450. The friends that I rode with a Sand Mountain this weekend have every kind of bike and have been riding dunes for years. they all agreed that this bike is being labled a 4-stroke , many it can't handle very many paddles.
BUT, it also has a 12,000 rpm motor with a rev limit of 10,750 rpm.It is like a two stroke!
After my friends rode my YFZ they all agreed that it could use a 9 - 10 paddle hauler. It throws sand like a shee.

Just saying 2 stroke - 4 stroke
tomato - tomoto
Your kfx will slide with haulers if and only if you are aggrsive enough, you have the power.

I run 20inch 10 blade haulers on my yfz and they rock. Usually 10 blades or for higher hp motors but with the high rpm and torque of the yfz they work great, especially for the drag.
