Default Hauler? Extreme Haulers? Tall Haulers?

i have the 20x10x10 8 paddle Haulers on my R and love them. Nobody likes to follow me though, says they throw too much sand.

I would look into the Extemes, supposedly more durable than Haulers, that is probably what I will buy when these wear out.

If you want to go fast in a strait line buy 21x11x8 extreme haulers (extreme haulers have a thicker more durable paddle you can also get them with kevlar) probly 10 paddle double buff on light wieght wheels. If you want to ride around and roust your friends but sand skat 2's works good for drag racing also. I have 20x11x9 extreme haulers on my DS650 and have riden on black top road at Little Sahara Ok and it didn't hurt them. I'm fixing too have my hubs turned down to fit 8" wheels so I can put the 21x11x8 extreme haulers on it.

I have 9 paddle rippers on my YFZ and they are the bomb. The rippers are like Extreme Taller Haulers (if they were to make them) - reinforced and deep. I took it to the Coos Bay/North Bend dunes and the tires were a great match for the YFZ. Plenty of power to move them, great roosts, instant sand speed - only complaint is that they limit the hills that are fun because you have to seek out the toughest, most challenging hills and even they become routine. Next time I go to the dunes I'm going to take my knobbies with me so I can switch around for night riding when I don't need the all out speed and just want to have some fun with cookies and to make more hills fun.

i run 21-10-8 10 paddel extrems. the reason i run the extrems is the regular haulers would flex to and not hook up on the start.

The thing said earlier about straight paddles slowing you down only happens when you put too much tire/paddle on the bike.

I have 20x10x10 xtremes with 10 paddles on my slightly modded raptor, and it was too much for me stock. It seems to be pretty good now, and they will work well with my planned upcoming mods.

in other words, 8 paddles for most machines. taller tires like 22's arent really necessary either. remember, too much tire and you might as well leave the stock radials on.

anyone have an opinion of how extreme haulers in a 20/11X9 8 paddle would work on my YFZ at glamis..

These would be run on the stock Yamaha wheels with a 15 tooth front sprocket instead of the 14.

What about the smooth baldies?? can you run around the dunes with these and still turn with aurthority?

or are they only good for straight line stuff?

It doesnt matter if we are talking about a two stroke or a four stroke, as long as you are not running too many paddles for your quad a straight paddle will perform much better up a hill than an angled one.Any one who has done any experimenting with this would find out very fast which tire will work better for a straight line drag or climb and that would be a hauler type tire.

Has anyone tried using a pro wedge II for hill climbs such as Olds hill? Would it give you more MPH or would there be too much spin to maintain high speed or would the takeoff suffer too much?
