We've got 23" 10 blade extremes on our yfz. Two days ago my uncle raced it against a built raptor at sand mountain ($2700 into engine he said). Both races it was a dead even tie. And the YFZ doesn't have a pipe yet. Just removed lid/peashooter.

You should just soften up your stock suspension and get a pipe, take the lid off, do that cam mod, paddles, re-jet, maybe different gearing, and maybe bump up your compression. Talk to selector I think hes got quite a bit of stuff done to his.

Longer, wider, extreme haulers, front sand tires, more HP.

Just what Wyoduner said. I have a full HMF pipe, K&N filter set up, cam mod, jetted, and it runs strong. I have a 12 tooth front sprocket when I run paddles, and that's not very often. I put a set of wheel spacers on the rear for more stability and cornering speed. I weigh 210 lbs. and run my suspension on the stiff side for jumping. I would like to get a set of Houser long travel a-arms someday. I had them on my Dale and they performed great.

3 gallons of Absolut, 2 gallons of real lemonade, 1 gallon of cranberry, 2 cases of Corona and a bologna sandwich. I'm good for a week. Oh yeah, quad, fuel, and baby wipes.
