coos bay camping?
#1
I have wanted to go to coos bay for a long time now. Now we are finally going the first week in june.
Were is a good place to camp? Is there beach camping? There will be about 8 - 10 haulers, and maybe a few people in tents. Group area maybe?

They are several place to camp, Horsefall,Spinreel that in Coo Bay dune area. You may want to check the www.reserveusa.com. As this time you might have a hard time to get the spot but never know.... For the group you have I would suggest to camp at Winchester bay that you can camp out on the sand. That way you are between 3 dunes. The southern dune (Coo Bay) Middle (Winchester Bay) Northern dune (Florence).
Also another place to check out is KOA camp ground that you can ride from the camp to the dune. Go to www.koa.com
Hopefully this will help you. Also there is no beach camping but you are really close by.....

We usually stay at the KOA camp ground. full hook ups and a store. I am not for sure about beach camping. There's a big group of us arriving the first weekend in June. Like desracers said you also need to check out Windchester Bay for riding and or camping.
