Where are the biggest badest tallest dunes in the west coast??
I have only been to Little Sahara Utah and St Anthony Idaho. From what I hear they have the biggest dunes. Little Sahara sand mountain is 600-800 ft long. and the face is just about as long but steeper. then the fingers next to the face are even steeper. Plus plenty of big bowls on the backside of Sand Mountain. If you ever come to Utah let me know ill go show you around

If you live on the west coast you might as well just hit them all.
Glamis (Gordon's Well & Buttercup) - Been there, Done that, Can't wait to go back!
Dumont - Been there, Done that, Worth another trip
Pismo (for the beach) - Great place for quick trip over the summer of winter when it is too cold at Sand Mt.
Sand Mt., NV - Great tall hill. This is my home
Oregon Coast - Going for the first time this Summer
St. A's - Maybe Summer 2005?
Sand Mt. Utah - Maybe Summer 2005 (either St. A's or Sand Mt., Utah - Hit the other one the next year???)

ive been to glamis a million times and know every dune. gordens well and buttercup. dumont too.I need somethig new since I only ride sand and work 5days a week. I own my own buisness so Its very hard to get more than 3 days off. but if I drive all those miles it better be worth it. I love big bowls and hills to drag up and new peaple to race. justa-guy I'll take your offer up if it's worth it.we could race our 500s and swap advice.

you guys need to come to utah if you think olds and china are big try stacking both of them on each outher and tillting them more vertical and youll come close to sand mountian in utah. Not saying ther no good just not that big. glamis is deffinetly got its goods just not so much in the big hill department.
utah is going to be the closest and biggest dunes to cali.....
