Default chrome and engine help

alright.. Im looking for some help with some different problems here. First, I want to chrome plate some stuff on my 250R and am wondering if it will harm the engine. I would like to chrome the clutch cover, the water pump cover and the whole top end (cylinder head). Doesn't this hurt the inside of the part? (eg. flaking off the water pump cover/clutch cover and the inside of the cylinder head) If so, how can I get around this? My next question is about my oil/fuel mixture. I am currently running what the local dinks at the honda dealership told me to run -32:1 and it seems to foul plugs left right and center. I am using supreme pump gas with STP octane booster and mixing "MOTUL 600" synthetic oil. My clymer manuel tells me to mix 20:1 which makes no sense to me. My last and biggest problem: The Dumbass who owned the 250R before me was a real butcher. He stripped about every bolt and nut on the bike including the damn Oil drain plug on the bottom of the engine case. It does hold oil but he surrounded the plug with that blue gasket-maker. Is there an easy way to fix this problem? (aside from ripping the engine apart and splitting the case to make the hole bigger and re-tapping it)

any help at all is very much appreciated!!

The stripped threads can be repaired using a heli coil which is just like a spring that screws in to the hole once it has been drilled and tapped to take it, this will allow you to use a standerd plug. you could do this with the case in place and a lot of grease on the drill ect to catch the swarf, but i would recomend taking the side case off it isnt a big job and if you are carfull you wont even need to replace the gasket.

any local garage or machine shop will do it for you if you take the case to them and shouldent charge much, its only a ten minute job
