Sand Mountain, the affectionately refered to one, is east of Reno Nevada near Fallon, Nevada. Kick @$$ place to ride. Sand Lake is a small riding area on the Northern Oregon Coast. Us Portlanders often resort to a quick day trip to this small resort of sand instead of the longer trip to the Oregon Dunes on the central Oregon Coast. FYI. No doubt! My family would never see me either. When the family wants to go I usually go to pismo so the kids have the beach. Which is fun but it's just not like Sand Mountain.
I'm going to Sand Mountain March, 26 with about 30 - 40 others. I be in the same setup as my pics, Expedition and trailer. unfortintly I am the only one without a hauler.
