Default 22 inch TALLER hauler 10 paddles too much ?

i have a DS 650 with a new cdi, KN filter, White brothers pipe, mbrp SS headers, and of course a jet kit....

im wanting some paddles for the sand...but i was hoping to find some used...i did find some, but they are 22 (i beleive 22 inch tall) 10 paddle TALLER haulers on .190s.....

im wondering if this is too much meat for a ds? (i have realtors on .190s and they weigh A TON)

i do general dune riding... (some dragging, climbing, and just messing around..)

i would also be going down at least one tooth on the CT.. (so from 16 to 15....)

anyone run taller haulers? what bike/mods?

just wondering if i should pass on these and look for somthing smaller

Well you certainly have the power to pull them. I'm sure you have the clearance. I have 22" Sand stars on my V. Check out the fit on my pics.

you think i have the power?

i dunno its the taller hauler...so a big paddle, then there are 10 of them on a 22 inch tire....

im just afraid it will feel like im pulling a 500 lb trailor behind me in anything over 3rd gear.....

The only problem I think you will have is keeping the frout end down!

They made it up every hill in Glamis I could find! They slide good too. If you go for straight paddles it can be harder to turn. When you gas it you go straight ahead. They work best for straight line drags though.

Sandstars are awesome! I have them on my Raptor and they work extremely well. I haven't had a problem climbing any hill. They hook up very well on take-offs and they slide really well too. I don't think you'll be disapointed with them, but you'll probably be better off with haulers if drag racing is your thing...

A little bit to much tire for mods, go with 20s
