I'm planning a trip to Little Sahara OK over memorial weekend, May 26 - 31st. Is it too crazy that weekend or should I reschedule?

 

It shouldnt be to bad that weekend.... The Snake Hunt is April 16-18 after that it settles down and it is back to regular visitors....Since the weather should be warmer more and more people start riding the dunes more...

 

If ya'll want to ride with us we will be up there the weekend of the 26-28 of March.

 

Theres alot of riders form the OKC area going down that weekend...

 

Memorial weekend is TOOO busy, if what you want to do is have good sand to ride on,and enjoy a relaxing time with friends and Family. The best time's to ride LS is Tuesday through friday. Other wise the sand will be ROUGH and their are always going to be idiots to look out for.

I would suggest riding during the week if you have Wives and Kids in your group. If its just a group of guys,then you will have fun anytime, But when you have to worry about other that you brought , Busy weekends stink!

I agree with bigger I would not bring my wife and kids up there on a big weekend, just to crazy! It's plenty busy on normal weekends to meet people and have plenty of quad to race and have a good time!

 

We take three families with us every Memorial. I have never felt that there were too many people out there that weekend. I don't like to go on the huge events (like snakehunt) but most holidays are ok. We will be there that weekend.

Hounddog06 you may be right, maybe it's snake hunt I'm thinking of, that's definately to busy as well as sandfest!

 

I agree with the riding on the non major event weekend, but for some reason I keep to going to the SnakeHunt and Sandfest the past couple of years. Owell, its all show on those days.
